Artemia eggs are essential in the nutrition of shrimp, prawns and lobsters in certain stages of their development and represent the most suitable feed for fish and shellfish living in both freshwater and saltwater. The business has a great potential for growth, as there is a great shortage of this input in the international market, while the markets in Ecuador and Brazil are constantly expanding. Feeding Artemia eggs to fish and crustaceans also increases the profitability of farmers, as they obtain products of higher quality and size (up to 50% more weight), in less time (2/3 of the crop cycle).
