The favorable climate conditions also allow for the cultivation of high quality fiber moss, which gives Inka Moss a competitive advantage in the international market. Furthermore, the market for moss is under constant growth, and new uses are being investigated in the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries. The company will generate a cluster of moss farming in the area of Junin, which in the long term will create employment and raise living standards for 4,800 low-income families.
