Gatsby Microfinance was estabilished in 2005 out of a credit department of Uganda Gatsby Trust. It works as a tier 4 microfinance institution but aims to transform to tier 2 financial institution by 2011 to enable her to widen scope of services to include mobilisation of savings. To date a total disbursement of
US $2.5 million has been made to over 1000 SMEs who have created 20000 jobs. A good number of these have grown and they need bigger loans. In delivering these services, she has partnered with Gatsby Charitable Foundation of UK and myc4 of Denmark.
