NESsT works to solve critical social problems in emerging market countries by developing and supporting social enterprises that strengthen civil society organizations' financial sustainability and maximize their social impact.
NESsT works as a social enterprise catalyst in emerging markets through four initiatives:

NESsT Venture Capital Fund

The NESsT Venture Fund is a philanthropic investment fund providing financial and capacity-building support to a select portfolio of social enterprises owned and operated by civil society organizations in Central Europe and Latin America. All of the social enterprises in the NESsT Venture Fund portfolio are intended to generate revenues to help diversify the financing base and further the mission of the parent nonprofit organization.

NESsT Consulting

Since 1997, NESsT has offered a variety of consulting services to nonprofit organizations, donors and international organizations. Previous consultancies have included group trainings/workshops; individual consulting; and research and writing.

NESsT University

The NESsT University is an incubator of ideas and initiatives that promote accountability, innovation, leadership and professionalism in the social enterprise field worldwide.
