The prime objective of the institute is enhancing the vocational skills training of the young men/women suitable for the growing industries in Uganda. Faced with the new challenges of Human Resources Development to qualify the skilled labour force of the modern growing industries and entrepreneurship, the rehabilitated institute being the current most equipped institution of the Kind in the country, has reorganized its training programmes.
