Director of a company that makes porridge flour from Moringa Oleifera leaves which include vitamins,minerals and amino acid that can help reduce malnutrition in children.
The flours other ingredients include, finger millet, soya,peanut,yellow flesh sweet potato and rice. The flour is supplied in local shops in and around Kisumu and the two leading supermarkets i.e. Yatin and Ukwala. In April 2008, the company signed a contract with Help Age Kenya to supply her with 2400kg per week for six months subject to renewal.
In June 2008 the Group won a UN Millenium Campagin and Sukuma Afrika Young Enterpreneours Business Plan Competition held in Cape Town South Africa. The award was won on Category MDG 4,5,6 (Reducing child mortality, improving marternal health, combating HIV/AIDS, malaria and other diseases.)
In January 2009 the company won the Bid Nature award 2008 and was represented at the BID MARKET PLACE in Amsterdam The Netherlands.
Currently the company has got contracts of supplies of porridge flour in feeding programs in schools in Western Kenya
