The PED Scholarship for Developing Countries

IMD is a leading international business school located in Lausanne, Switzerland.
They are currently looking for candidates for a scholarship at IMD. The scholarship relates to the PED, the program for executive education, and is for individuals from developing countries. Specifically two individuals per year are invited to attend the 10 week executive education program for free. IMD waives the fee (61,000 Swiss Franc) and its alumni community raise money to pay for the person's trip and living expenses during the program.

A key objective is to identify a person who will transfer the knowledge and experience gained at IMD back to her/his country. In this way both the participant and their country benefit from the program. The typical candidate is most likely self-employed or running a small business or NGO.
