BAU KUL (Plum) was invented by Dr M. A Rahim Professor of horticulture department in Bangladesh Agricultural University. BAU KUL is a different kind of plum which is newly experimented and harvested by Bangladesh Agriculture University. Each BAU KUL plum weights 70 to 150 gm, average weight is 90 gm. This means, 8 to 10 plums make one kg.

Characteristics of Bau Kul:
 Each BAU KUL plum weights 70 to 150 gm. Average weight is 90 gm.
 (TSS) sweetness of general plum is 13-18 but BAU KUL has 24.1(TSS).
 BAU KUL can cultivate throughout the year.
 It is already in demand in the local and international market.
 It dominates the market with monopoly characteristics throughout the year.
