Philippines: Rural bank officers train on SME credit pricing
The Small and Medium Enterprise Development for Sustainable Employment Program and the Department of Trade and Industry will hold a seminar on credit pricing for bank officers today, from 12 noon to 5 p.m., at the Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation Inc. building in Bacolod City.
The activity is part of the continuing efforts of SMEDSEP and DTI to enhance the capacity of its partner banks on SME finance and in line with the service agreement between SMEDSEP, Rural Bankers Association of the Philippines and Small Business Guarantee and Finance Corporation.
Participants are bank officers who are involved in decision- making and day-to-day operations.
The training team will be led by Michael Schneider, an international expert on SME Finance. Co-trainers will come from RBAP, SBC, and Postal Bank.
The seminar is also designed as a trainers' training for participating financial institutions.
