Fair Ventures (FV) is seeking one enthusiastic person for the Business in Development (BiD) Network. Our aim is to stimulate small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) development in third world countries through an international, online community for poverty reduction and profit. Fair Ventures is the coordinator of the BiD Network and we seek an assistant.
What will you do?
- Edit / update profiles and contact information of some 800 companies
- Find & add relevant organisations worldwide to the BiD Network
- Inform companies about their presence / role in the BiD Network
- Check BiD business plans and assign ratings to the most interesting plans
- Stimulate Network members to update their profile and remove empty profiles
- Back-office support, assisting the Network Editor with daily tasks and/or urgent matters
What are we looking for? Your profile;
- Pro-active, punctual and enthusiastic (ex-) student
- Proven experience and/or affinity with entrepreneurship and development issues
- Available 3 to 5 days a week, for a period of minimum 3 months starting a.s.a.p.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate a pro-active attitude.
- Fluent in Dutch and (written) English.
- Solid computer skills (MS Office and Internet)

- Supervision and coaching
- Work for a period of three months (minimum), starting as soon as possible but no later than Monday, the 5th of June
- Appropriate compensation. Indication; €. 650,- a month on the basis of 40 hours a week, excl. travel expenses
