London Business School Africa Day
On April 22, 2005, the Africa Club at London Business School hosted the fourth Africa Day Conference. The annual event draws attendees from the global business and academic ommunities. It aims to stimulate debate on business issues relevant to Africa and provide success stories on entrepreneurship and management ractices on the continent.
The theme at this year’s event was “Leveraging the Africa Diasporaâ€? and featured discussions, panels and keynote speakers covering recent developments and success stories on two topics: “Brain Drain vs. Brain Pushâ€? and “Diaspora Remittancesâ€?. Actis, Celtel, FMO and Barbara James (Managing Director, AVCA) all participated.
