Organisational development is a process that never stops. The Deming Circle of Continuous Improvement reflects this continuous improvement in a graphical way:

- Analysis/evaluation to define the value of organisational development;
- Discussion to define and authorize organisational development projects;
- Development of measurement system (normally based on the Balance Score Card methodology) to plan and measure the organisational development targets;
- Execution of the projects;
- Closing of the projects and final measurement of the results and benefits of the organisational development process.
