We are currently looking for a volunteer tailoring trainer who has the capabilities and willingness to participate in MIKITA, a development project in Tanzania.
Job description
Giving expert tailoring training to Tanzanian women tailors
Decisions on product quality
Structuring a best working practice for quality maintainance
Participating in market research
Participating in Project evaluation
Organising the production of the first MIKITA product
Required skills
Tailoring skills
Formal/informal development knowledge or business background knowledge
Interest in developing within the tailoring industry Tanzania
Creative mind
Willingness to work with diverse races with different education levels
Respect to local culture in Tanzania
An open mind
A long term vision
Flexibility
This voluntary position is for 6 months, with the possibility of extension.
