Event:

1 April: Market Access for small holders: A joint effort for business and NGO

Over the last year the GET Foundation has shown its ability to provide market access for small holders (farmers & cooperatives alike) through the Internet.
The www.efreshportal.com in conjunction with its market making services has proven a very efficient tool for small holders to reach out to buyers world wide.
The eFreshPortal is the world largest news-, trading-, and transaction portal for the perishable (Fresh) industries.

Location: Conference center Hoog Brabant, Hoog Catharijne, Utrecht
Time: 1st April, 14.00 / 17.30
Program will follow soon.

A joint effort
While NGO’s have succeeded in many capacity building projects, market access has proven to be the most difficult problem to solve. The GET Foundation has succeeded in bridging the gap between the NGO needs (market access) and the professional services available by commercial organizations such as GET (builders of the eFresh Portal)
GET NV has given itself great efforts to assist the Foundation, has developed new services and has presented its services for a reduced rate to the GET Foundation.

Going forward
The GET Foundation wishes to share its experiences with you not only to look back, but also to discuss with you the possibilities to intensify our joint efforts to maximize and speed up the number of small holders we assist.

New services
The GET Foundation believes that the portal can deliver much more than market access!
For small holders to succeed in the international trade, certification and trade finance are essential pre-conditions to be successful in the international business.
The GET Foundation has found ways to include such services into a package solution for small holders.
Again: A joint effort between NGO and the business community.

We like to share our experiences with you and we are looking forward to have your active input on these subjects.
