The village will increase its economy from the income of this product. The Business
Cala 201 is a juice from calamansi and carrot. This product is beneficial for all consumers from all walks of life. The consumers will have the choice between the healthy drinks and softdrinks.
The making process of the cala 201 juice is simple and affordable. The local community ( single parents who are unemployed and juvenile delinquents undergoing rehabilitation) could easily acquired the skills to produce this product.
The barangay 201 is one of the villages in Pasay City, Manila. This village is not the only beneficiary of this venture. The farmers from the fruit basket of Mindoro and Baguio provinces will gain as well since their produce will have a direct market. And even during lean months the calamansi and carrot will still be a highly sought after commodity.
Five workers could generate 1000 litteres of juice per day and each of them could earn at least 200 pesos a day. Through this small business the community will have security and eventually reduce the criminality rate. The target urban indivuals, groups and famillies will have a sense of self growth and high esteem because they have the power to improve their financial situations.This is because these people if unemployed often end up in illegal jobs ( prohibited drugs selling) and vices. They become dellinquents who need reformation.
The economic activities of the barangay will increase and thereby affect the financial status of the ciity and will promote national financial stability.
