Pillow—the most common thing in our daily life, almost everyone owns it. But what we ignored is that it is our most honest accompanier: every harmony night, we breathe with her. In our whole life, we spend 30% time with her. Actually, its one of the most important thing in our life and to our health, so, we have to pay much attention when choosing it.

China is a tea country with the tea history of more than 4000 years; there are almost 1000 kinds of tea. The technology of tea is in a very high level. Drinking tea is deep into people’s life. There are all together 4 million tea planters. But for most of them, they can only gain the cost of tea for very low price. To develop tea pillow can add the technology in the tea and raise the price. That can greatly improve that farmer’s income. Since the tea pillow has to use the organic tea, so the selling of the organic tea pillow can also good for environment.

The Business
A very simple but unconcerned truth is that, in our lifelong, we have to spend at lease 1/4 of time with the most common thing—pillow, we breathe with pillow, we sleep with pillow. Think that if we sleep on a bad pillow make from bad materials, that is not alarmism, 30% of our cloth discovered to be unhealthy, how our body will effected with their gradually infract your body. A good pillow can not only balance your body but also advance your sleep.
The difference between a common pillow and a tea pillow is its fills. We use elaborated produced tea grainy as the pillow fills. The tea pillow is soft as a down pillow but firm as a foam pillow. It has memory function, which can hold a comfortable and suitable shape according to our head’s custom throughout the night and last for at least two years. The most important thing for a tea pillow is its nature character, it's a pure health-friendly and environmental pillow. The nature aroma from the tea grainy can peace and advance our sleep.

First I will give a clear definition to our tea pillow that is: precious, healthy and high quality. To pursue this, I will give a clear brand, advertisement to the product. That is the previous preparation of selling---Create the communication tools.
Second is the selling, the selling is divided into two step: first, we will push our products to local market, 1. “happygo” a famous home shopping TV station, because their target audience is housewives and high income family and in the help of the glib shop guidance –our product will quickly known by high income family and increase the selling. 2. attending some home decoration exhibition and cooperate with some large home shop to expand the retailer team, our representatives will be highly educated marketer. 3. to reach some wedding house to increase the selling. After gaining some profit and experience in local market, we decided to cooperate with EU Company to negotiate the export issue. We decide to open western market.
Recently, there is no similar tea pillow in the market. This provides us a period to establish a brand. To compete with other latent company, we have three way, first a clearly and strong brand, second, good source of tea, third, good design.

There are two core members in our business plan: Stephen and me. Stephen is a tea expert, he knows the character of tea, that insure the quality of our tea pillow, we can clearly provide tea pillow with different kind of usage and insure the excellence of our tea pillow, and he has been opening and running a business before, that experience can solve lots of concrete issues of starting a business, such as register, office running, recruiting etc.
I’m now working for World Wide Fund for Nature(WWF), doing communication issues, and my major in University is marketing. The combined academic and work experience in communication and marketing region provide me an creative business mind and lots efficient propaganda methods, my working experience in environmental NGO make me the ability to gather a wide range of experts resources in both business, medias, academics and farmers.
Development
Farmers’ problem is one of the most speculate problem in China, it concerns the society stabilization. The core of solving farmers’ problem is to increase their economic status. Those tea planters are live in remote and mountainous regions, their tea are sold in a very low price and they have to depend on whether to foison or not. If they development tea pillow, that will highly increase their products’ value, they can develop their own factory. So, one of our development impact is to increase farmer’s income and community development ability.
The second impact is for environment aspect. We decided to spread organic planting way in that tea planting region. The development of tea planting can insure a sustainable development way and good for the environment.

Tea pillow! What a novel idea! Each bedtime will be a session in aromatherapy. Absolutely free! No bills! I just don't know if I can sleep with it when everytime I turn my head I'll hear crushing leaves.
One can also bathe with it. Soak it in a bathtub with warm water, preferably, and there you go -- a refreshing bath! What's more? It's reusable! Just let it dry under the sun so that come bedtime, it'll be cuddly again. The next morning bath...
