Franz Beltran
I studied Commercial Ingineering at the Military School of Engineering in Cochabamba, Bolivia. At the moment, I am working as Sales Manager of Internacional Import-Export and sometimes I am percussionist.
When my mother founded our company 7 years ago, I wanted to be a musician, but later, after I finished high school I had to choose between the music or another carreer, I chose Comercial Ingineering. At that moment I did not realize that my biggest passion were the business, but the business with a strong social commitment.
Our company is called Internacional Import Export, we produce jeans. In 2007 we created a new brand: Mestizo, which is a mix between jeans and traditional hand-made andean weaves from my country, Bolivia. We aim to export our products to the world and show our cultural riches while we provide permanent jobs to andean artisans and help them to keep their milenary traditions.
Playing music is something that I will never give up, but I think that doing business in a responsible way is something that gives me more satisfactions.
